A Summer Premiere in July
This summer there was a premiere for me: I have visited a festival for the first time. Okay, admittedly it was more the diet-version of a festival. No staying overnight in a tent with dirt and food in tins. I had the opportunity to visit the Taktraum Festvial on two days in Ingolstadt with the company MediamarktSaturn. Since I’m living in the same city I could sleep at home. Hopefully, you let that count anyway!
Somehow, I haven’t told you about this event before. But I don’t want to keep my impressions from you. One of the highlights was that I could meet the guys from the ERC Ingolstadt for an interviews. I was a little nervous standing in front of a team full of professional athletes. However, they were all super nice and open – after all they are humans like you and me (only with some more muscles). By the way, they told me that you burn up to 4000 kalories in one icehockey match, I guess I should start playing!

The most beautiful thing about the event (sorry, guys) was the exclusive view I was allowed to enjoy at the last day. I was one of very few people I had the chance to go up the Reduit Tilly. The Reduit Tilly is part of the ancient fortification of Ingolstadt. Around this beautiful building the festival took place. Standing on the roof I could enjoy the summery sundowner and also the spectacular view over the party crowd.
And this is exactly what I love about the summer over and over again: spending mild summer nights outside and just lean back and relax. It is hard to say goodbye to these moments at the end of every summer – and today was the day. After September spoiled us here in Bavaria with temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius, the change of weather came right on time for the weekend (so typical…). Instead of being sad about it, I decided to make the best out of it. In my last post I already told you how I like to spend my time in fall when I’m alone at home.

Eine Sommer-Premiere im Juli
Diesen Sommer gab es doch tatsächlich eine Premiere für mich: Ich hab das erste Mal ein Festival besucht. Okay, zugegeben war es eher die Light-Variante. Kein Übernachten im Zelt mit Matsch und Dosenravioli. Zwei Tage durfte ich für MediaMarktSaturn auf das Taktraum Festival in Ingolstadt besuchen. Da ich in der gleichen Stadt wohne, ging es abends zum Schlafen wieder nach Hause. Ich hoffe, ihr lasst es trotzdem ein bisschen gelten.
Die Eindrücke von diesem kleinen, aber feinen Musikevent möchte ich euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten. Ein Highlight war, dass ich die Jungs vom ERC Ingolstadt treffen und interviewen durfte. Da ist man schon etwas aufgeregt, wenn man vor einer Mannschaft trainierter Profisportler steht. Doch sie waren alle sehr nett und aufgeschlossen – und am Ende auch nur Menschen wie du und ich (mit ein paar mehr Muskeln). Bei einem Eishockey-Match verbrennen sie übrigens bis zu 4000 Kalorien, ich sollte auch anfangen, zu spielen!

Am schönsten (sorry, Jungs) war dann aber am letzten Tag des Festivals der exklusive Ausblick, den ich genießen durfte. Mit einigen wenigen hatte ich die Ehre, auf das Reduit Tilly hinaufsteigen zu dürfen. Das Reduit Tilly ist ein Teil der alten Befestigungsanlagen Ingolstadts, um die herum das Taktraum Festival stattfand. Auf dem Dach stehend konnte ich den sommerlichen Sonnenuntergang genießen und einen spektakulären Ausblick über die feiernde Menge.
Und das ist es auch, was ich am Sommer immer wieder auf’s Neue liebe: laue Abend draußen zu verbringen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Mich von diesem Momenten endgültig zu verabschieden, fällt mir dann im Spätsommer sehr schwer – und heute ist es dann wohl so weit gewesen. Nachdem uns der September hier in Bayern noch dauerhaft mit Temperaturen von Ende 20 Grad und Sonne satt verwöhnt hat, kam pünktlich zum Wochenende der Wetterumschwung. Doch statt Trübsal zu blasen, werde ich das beste draus machen. In meinem letzten Beitrag habe ich euch ja schon erzählt, wie ich gerne meine Zeit im Herbst gestalte, wenn ich allein Zuhause bin.
