What a crazy spring!

What a spring this year! Perhaps you wonder now if I mean it in a positive or negative way – both would be true. The weather here in Bavaria has been so beautiful that I already was stand-up paddling in a bikini two times in April! I have never experienced such high temperatures so early in the year before. I’m already more tanned than after a two-weeks-vacation.

Talking about vacation: This is one of the neagative aspects of this spring I guess. The Covid-crisis is still omnipresent (although the restrictions are already eased a little). In our lifetimes there has never been an event like this that has disarranged everything we thought to be save and certain. Although there are more important things. Still, no vacation in sight.

Luckily, we were late to book our diving trip to Egypt and eventually decided not to do it. I had already booked a trip to Mallorca with my Mom and sister and was really looking forward to it. I cancelled it a few days ago and don’t know if I’ll get my money back. But there are worse things in life so I’m not worrying too much about it. I’m confident that there will be some amazing vacations in the future!

My favorite spring outfits 2020: almost summer looks

My outfits this spring were pretty casual since I spent most of the time at home. Due to the beautiful warm weather very early this year they are also quite summery. When it comes to fashion in general, less is more for me at the moment. I hardly buy anything new and prefer to combine my old items in other combinations. I also minimize my wardrobe and sell a lot of the stuff I don’t wear anymore anyway. Below you find my favorite spring outfits 2020:

Was für ein verrückter Frühling!

Was für ein Frühling! Das meine ich sowohl im positiven als auch im negativen Sinne. Das Wetter hat uns hier in Bayern schon so ausgiebig mit Sonne verwöhnt, dass ich im April zwei Mal im Bikini am Baggersee war! Das habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt. Mittlerweile bin ich schon gebräunter als ich es nach einem Urlaub sein könnte.

Stichwort Urlaub: Da wären wir auch schon beim Negativen. Die Corona-Krise hat die Welt nach wie vor fest im Griff (auch wenn langsam vorsichtige Lockerungen unternommen werden). Noch nie hat ein Ereignis in unserem Leben wohl alles, was wir als sicher und unveränderlich geglaubt hatten, so durcheinander gewirbelt wie dieses Virus. Also nichts mit Urlaub. Den geplanten Tauchurlaub im April ans Rote Meer hatten wir zum Glück noch nicht gebucht und auch die (bereits gebuchte Reise) im Juni nach Mallorca wird nicht angetreten. Ich versuche gerade dafür mein Geld zurückzubekommen, mal sehen. Doch es gibt Schlimmeres im Leben und ich glaube ganz fest daran, dass wir bald wieder neue Orte entdecken werden!

Meine Lieblings-Frühlingsoutfits: Fast schon Sommer-Looks

Meine Outfits dieses Frühjahr sind recht casual, da ich ja die meiste Zeit Zuhause verbracht habe und Dank des wundervollen Wetters zum Teil auch schon recht leicht und sommerlich. Was Mode insgesamt betrifft, heißt es für mich aktuell übrigens: weniger ist mehr. Ich kaufe kaum neue Teile, sondern versuche das, was ich habe, immer wieder neu zu kombinieren. Außerdem wird fleißig ausgemistet und ich verkaufe aktuell sehr viel auf Kleiderkreisel. Schaut gerne auf meinem Profil vorbei!
